In compliance to the requirement of MSN 02/2019, with regard to sand mining and STS transfer marine activities, BTSB is required to compel in undertaking a Marine Risk Assessment (MRA) analysis of its intended project operations activities.

The assessment comprised analyses of the synchronistic interaction of Project associated activities againts the spatial and temporal distribution of marine functions with the port of Tanjung Agas with a view of achieving the optimum trade off between an agreed set of ecological , economic, and social objective; and to make an objective analysis on those prescribe activities againts a set of predefined risk acceptance criteria.
